That’s us. With all our force.
Photography has accompanied us for a long time and improves us over time. Being authors and generating images necessarily means that we take THE responsibility. About the way and about the moment we photograph. How and when. A responsibility that is understood only when we are also the subjects and the objects we look to photograph and when we live the life that we want to see represented. The keystone of our photography it’s here, in the transition from lived to represented.
There are fragments of days that we do not remember except through these photographs. That’s us.
White, black, gray. The light, the darkness, the shadows. The contours of our days are not always clear. We don’t often establish boundaries and if we do, the freedom to cross them humanizes us.
Where there is no definition there is room for imagination. For the dream in which I live and for the one I imagine. In any case, that’s us, undefined and alive. At times, really happy.
