We are Alessandro and Veronica, husband and wife, a mum and a dad. We share the same enthusiasm for photography in general, we continue to study photography, to invest in personal research, to let ourselves be inspired by great photographers, both contemporary and past. Photographic culture is essential for our training. Along with curiosity. Wedding photography is an application of being photographers above all.
Home » Wedding in an Italian Castle * Valentina e Luca

This is the romantic story of a wedding in an Italian Castle and Valentina, Luca and their lovely little son Leone are the protagonists.
One of the most exciting aspects of being a wedding photographer is that you always find yourself immersed in a cross-section of humanity with an enormous potential from a photographic point of view. People meet, compare, move and to observe and to interpret them is an intense and motivating work.
This cheerful Italian couple chose the ancient and charming Castello di Malpaga and its Borgo to celebrate their wedding. There is a little country church beside the castle and they got married there with a religious ceremony and a bit of refreshment in one of the hottest day of this long Italian summer.
Valentina and Luca came to our house last winter, in a cold evening, together with their Leone, a cheerful little boy. We had never met before but it was immediate harmony between us. And this helped on the wedding day: when you feel in tune with your bride and groom it is easier to interpretate their feelings through your photos.
An Italian wedding usually requires a traditional way to plan the day but this doesn’t mean that you can’t have both fun and traditions. On the contrary! What a surprise when we discovered the beautiful setting inside the courtyard for the aperitivo. And the wedding tables for the dinner, the dance floor, all surrounded by that historical frame, by those strong walls full of secrets. What a place!
Well, it was a pleasure dear Valentina and Luca. Congratulations!
And a big thank you also to the resourceful girls of Ilamalu who helped to organize this chic wedding!
