A fashionable urban anniversary shooting in Florence.
This is not a wedding in Florence because Chelsea and Ryan already had their unforgettable Italian destination wedding there, at the Four Season Hotel and we were so lucky to be there to try to be the best wedding photographers ever. A special couple and two lovely kids (take a look here at their wedding photos on Junebug Weddings).
Again, this year they came to Italy, to Florence and could we miss this new opportunity to tell their story? We went out to the Chianti for a dinner, at the top of an hill, and once there we shot a few family portraits. Warm, amazing light at sunset. Tuscany is magical.
The morning after, early morning, we met again for their anniversary shooting in Florence. An Italian breakfast in Piazza della Repubblica, then a walk through Piazza della Signoria and the Uffizi toward Ponte Vecchio and a break by a bridge. Silence is probably the key to experience all that beauty. We went back to San Miniato al Monte, as years ago.
Our aim is to be creative wedding photographers and Chelsea and Ryan always give us the chance to try to do it so thank you kind, lovely guys!
Chelsea is also a great wedding and fashion photographer. And a model, so yes, it was easy with her, we just needed that magical light…
It’s a portrait, but this is also documentary photography: different personalities and their ways to enjoy time together. Shared love.
Ryan and Chelsea had already been here, at this small typical Tuscan restaurant, years ago (oh, the food, AMAZING). They were so happy they had the chance to bring there also their kids!
Early morning, cornetto and cappuccino in Florence. Outfit: Dolce&Gabbana.
Ryan runs an art Gallery and knows a lot about art and history.
Palazzo Vecchio. A metaphoric window over Florence and its eternal beauty.
