We had the pleasure to be part of this outdoor chic mountain wedding in Val d’Aosta organized by Gettingmarriedinitaly.
When you arrive in Val d’Aosta, land of castles, high mountains, narrow valleys and hospitable people, you begin to think that you could live happily there, away from the chaos, freed from the mountains. And why not, you could even get married up there!
We arrived at La Jolie Bergère, on a cloudy morning, but Amy and Daniel didn’t seem to care. We discovered a chalet steeped in tradition with this welcoming and cheerful Australian couple who lives in Europe. The intimate symbolic ceremony was celebrated in the small outdoor terrace, overlooking the valley. And this was an aperitif with not only live music but also rain drops and fantastic Valdostan food.
Have you ever seen a cake made exclusively of typical cheeses? Not us, but we found it fantastic! And danced in the dark at your wedding around a fire under tons of stars? Cool, isn’t it?
This was not only a very romantic outdoor chic mountain wedding but a wonderful experience!
